1986 | Vision Sparked by Reform
With the introduction of Laos' New Economic Mechanism, founder Sengthong Norasing recognized the opportunity for entrepreneurship and began laying the groundwork for future ventures.
1988 | First Business Established
Formed and incorporated one of the first ten companies of the country, Luang Prabang Trading and Co. No. 7. The company began operations in import and export—marking the family’s official entry into the business world.
Early 1990s | Diversification and Industry Expansion

1990s | Agricultural Development & Equipment Financing
Amid Laos’ policy shift toward agricultural productivity and economic integration, Mr. Sengthong identified a gap in mechanization. He became a licensed distributor of Kubota Tractors (Japan) and offered equipment financing solutions, helping farmers modernize their practices.
Late 1990s–Early 2000s | Founding of Insithong Construction
Capitalizing on Laos' infrastructure boom, Insithong Construction was launched.
Starting with municipal contracts, the company gained traction and by the mid-2000s, had secured significant projects including those from the U.S. Embassy in Vientiane.
Early 1990s | Diversification and Industry Expansion

2006 | Establishment of Isuzu Lao VSA
Recognizing a growing demand for heavy-duty industrial equipment, the family office launched Isuzu Lao VSA, further expanding into auto lending, commercial vehicles, and project financing.
2010s | Real Estate, Land Banking & Strategic Growth
Backed by decades of experience in equipment financing and infrastructure development, the family office began focusing on real estate investment and land banking—positioning itself for broader economic influence.
Present Day | Expansion into the U.S. Market
Today, the family office is actively pursuing international investment opportunities, aiming to grow its portfolio and establish a strategic footprint in the U.S. real estate and private capital markets.
